High Frequency Trading Developer recruitment
My client is one of the world's leading market makers / ultra high frequency prop trading firms. Potential upside is huge as the profits generated by the group have been very high and developers are seen as an integral part of revenue generation.
Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background and a between 3 and 8 years of commercial development experience, ideally within high frequency trading, or other high-throughput, low latency, real-time systems. Most importantly you will have a passion for beautiful code and efficiency:
• Expert C++, STL.
• Singlethreaded development.
• Low-level systems programming in C / C++
• TCP / IP (and other low-level)
• high frequency system dev experience
• quantitative ability
• strong communication skills
• appetite to learn
Although previous experience within the finance sector is not necessary it is preferred. However if you feel you have expert C++ knowledge in mission critical systems perhaps from a telco, gaming or defence company please do get in touch.
