The organisation is a privately owned hedge fund and proprietary trading company with over 10 years experience of Alternative Investment experience. They apply a systematic approach to trading on a number of electronic markets worldwide. They have offices in London and New York.
The company employ around a 100 traders and researchers who work in different sized groups – from individual traders working on their own, through to much larger groups of researchers working on larger scale, research-intensive strategies, with collaborative PnL.
Opportunities in Trading (London and New York)
Quite simply, we are looking for experienced traders with a demonstrable trading track record. Traders or PMs that have sharp ratios of over 3 and who can join our great team! We are able to offer clearly defined, contractual splits on PnL of up to 40% depending on type of strategy. We are one of the largest traders by volume on several markets worldwide and can offer professional traders an excellent platform in terms of technology covering low latency trading infrastructure, data, tick-data management, execution etc. Please contact Theo Leggett (tlegget@westbourne-partners.com) for more information. Quantitative Research (London New York):
As a Quantitative Researcher, you will be responsible for research and development of new signals and trading strategies, including risk management. Applicants can be involved in deploying their own strategies and systems for Alpha Capture or as part of a larger group of researchers. You will also contribute to the creation of software and trading platform to support ongoing development of new strategies. We are interested in engaging with individuals with at least 6 months experience of intra-day trading in commodities, fixed income, equities, futures, options etc. Quantitative Researchers typically have a PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning or a similar discipline. Expected TCOMP can vary from $350,000 - $1,500,000
