High Yield Analyst, Asset Management Firm
Our client is a top performing asset management firm, who are now looking to add a High Yield analyst to their team. You will join their highly successful high yield fund, which has been one of the most successful performing in its sector year on year.
This role is to perform detailed credit analysis on companies within a specific sector or sectors across the High Yield credit spectrum. Key attributes for the role include the ability to perform detailed credit analysis and provide relative value investment recommendations. Also important are flexibility, accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines. The role requires a proactive and organised approach with an excellent eye for detail. A client friendly, team player approach is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary coverage responsibility for a group of companies within specific sectors
Production of written research notes, financial models, and relative value rankings
Development of deep industry knowledge and ability to accurately communicate information throughout the broader fixed income team
They are interested in meeting with candidates who will have a background as follows:
- High Yield analysts from other asset management firms or potentially sell side firms
- Probably, you will have at least five years research experience
- Potentially, we will consider an exceptional leveraged banker at the Senior associate/ VP level who is looking to make a move into high yield research
- Resilient, highly outgoing personality
