High Yield Credit Analyst
We are an independent high yield credit research provider founded in 2010 in Singapore by experienced market professionals. We operate a flat organisational structure and promote a sense of belonging to our company. We are currently looking for a credit analyst to share our vision of becoming the reference point for independent high yield credit research.
Position and Responsibilities:
We are looking to hire an experienced credit analyst, whose main responsibility will be to publish high quality and timely research on Asian high yield companies.
- The individual will conduct rigorous fundamental credit analysis on Asian issuers, including financial modelling and forecasting.
- The ideal individual will be self-motivated, with an acute sense of integrity, professionalism and accountability.
- The role will include working within strict deadlines in a time critical environment.
- The individual will ideally have 5+ years of relevant high yield credit research experience as a sell-side analyst in a bulge-bracket institution, or buy-side experience acquired at an institutional investment manager or rating agency.
- Responsibilities shall also include developing and maintaining relationships with institutional clients to communicate key research ideas.
- The individual must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment.
Required skill set:
- Outstanding fundamental credit analysis and financial modelling skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Confidence and ability to convey research ideas clearly to sophisticated investment professionals
- Highly-developed sense of work ownership, accountability and teamwork
- Be reliable, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working independently
- Ability to manage and share workflow under strict deadlines
- CFA designation (or equivalent) is an advantage
- Chinese language an advantage
- Strong academic record
The successful candidate will receive salary + discretionary bonus.
Candidates should possess a work permit for Singapore.
