One of the leading names in distressed debt investing is looking to add an analyst to their team. The fund is US Based with a presence in Asia from Hong Kong with an excellent reputation and track record.
The firm have a huge US presence to compliment the new Asia offices therefore will be able to offer you excellent training and exposure in addition to flexibility on all mandates and broad industry coverage encompassing a number of sectors in Europe.
Your responsibilities will include: -
- Working as a Buy side analyst focused on generating proprietary investment ideas in the Pan Asian distressed and high yield debt markets
- Responsible for sourcing, evaluating, structuring, executing and monitoring investments
- Investments in Asian corporate high yield and distressed debt, Leverage loan and CLO.
This role will provide you with an opportunity to work with some key figures in distressed debt investing and will also offer you exposure to other related areas such as:-
- Event driven equity and CDS positions
- Evaluating Asian credit investments and structured/illiquid instruments.
- Representing the firms position in a number of debt restructurings
Excellent LBO/DCF modelling skills are required therefore in order to apply for the role applicants must have an excellent academic background from a leading school and ideally come from a top restructuring, financial sponsors or Leveraged finance team COUPLED with relevant buy side or prop desk experience.
Applicants with experience within special situations or distressed debt investing from another fund will be considered with high regard.
