High Yield Sales Trader recruitment
The candidate must have a proven track record of generating strong revenue figures in corporate bonds. The candidate must be comfortable managing and taking own risk and will have been market making these products in a previous role.
Responsibilities
- Understand client workflows
- Identify opportunities to take advantage of these workflows
- Maintain a high level of interaction with clients
- Provide pre- and post- trade analysis and dispensing strategy advice to clients
- Identify prospective Trading Desk clients, including existing users
- Present to clients/prospects the value of the Trading Desk
- Liaise with Sales and RMs to access prospective and existing clients
- Maintain sales coverage for desk clients, helping to cross-sell across product lines

Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience as an Bond/High Yield Trading, program trading and algorithmic
- trading experience preferred
- Large contact network
- Experience successfully managing institutional fixed income client relationships
- Experience with quantitative trading strategies, pre- and post-trade analytics
- Superior communication skills, self-motivated, responsible
- Ability to multi-task
- Motivated self-starter who takes ownership of their responsibilities, with the ability
- to work autonomously
- Must be a team player with ability and interest in participating in new projects and
- helping other departments within the company
- Ability to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines
