HISTOTECHNOLOGIST Job in Inglewood 90301, California US
Prime Healthcare Services, a leading hospital system located in Southern California, has an opportunity for a Histotechnologist at Centinela Hospital Medical Center.
Services as a Histotechnologist in the divisionof the Pathology Department. The Histotechnologist is responsible: 1) preparation of specimens for microscopic evaluation by the Pathologist through the use of microtomy, special staining, histochemistry, and other appropriate techniques in accordance with the Pathology policy and procedures. 2) must be versed in a range of hematoxylin and eosin staining procedures to expedite the handling and reading of all specimens. 4) knowledge of immunohistochemical staining procedures if applicable to job duties. Special projects or other assignments may be given with expectations to be completed in a specified timeframe.
Education, Experience, Training
1. Minimum 1 year Unregistered Histotechnologist experience, but Registered Histotechnologist preferred.
2. CPR 30 days of employment if job includesdirect patient contact.
