Our client is a reputable international bank. In order to strengthen the regulatory reporting framework and control, they are looking to hire a high-calibre experienced HKMA Regulatory Reporting Manager to lead the accounting and compliance function.
Reporting to the Head of Finance and managing a team of 4, you will mainly carry out the HKMA regulatory reporting function as well as other financial / non-financial information to the regulators and to the group management as required. You will be an active participant in other accounting responsibilities including Finance project management, regular regulatory requirement updates, and any other ad-hoc regulatory reporting. This is an exciting career opportunity as you will be integrated to the success and growth of the Bank.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A university degree and a full professional accounting qualification
- 7 to 10 years solid HKMA regulatory reporting experience gained within banking or a financial institution
- Solid finance accounting operation reporting experiences; prior experiences in Big 4 audit is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills with fluency in English and Cantonese
- Strong prior experiences in dealing with regulators
