Description The Home Loan Division Branch Manager is responsible for residential loan production and profitability within a specific geographic area and the management, direction, and motivation of assigned production and support staff. Essential Duties: ? Supervise the residential loan production efforts of an assigned office or area as. Includes aspects of loan administration and administrative support to meet production goals and maintain branch profitability. ? Supervise branch pipeline through review and analysis of office production reports, projected vs. final closings, and appropriate file flow procedures. ? Monitor and address branch compliance, canceled file review, and post-closing follow up. ? Responsible for tracking and accounting for loans in process (LIP) funds. ? Responsible for identifying additional sales and support staff in market area to meet business objectives. Recruit, hire, train, and develop appropriate production and support staff. ? Perform origination of residential mortgage loans for builders, homeowners, and employees. Includes existing real estate, construction, and refinances. ? Assist Loan Officers with development of long-range production goals and plans. Help maintain consistent initiatives and ensure goals are achieved. ? Partner with other branches on all loan production related matters to ensure company goals are met. Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred. Skills and Knowledge: 5 - 8 years experience as a mortgage loan officer. 3 - 5 years management/leadership experience. ? Extensive understanding of residential mortgage lending and quality control. ? Extensive mortgage product knowledge including conventional, FHA, VA, non-conforming, and sub-prime loans. ? Proven personal sales and marketing success. ? Proven management skills, including sales coaching and motivation. ? Knowledge of local real estate market activity. ? Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills. *This position will require/requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the terms of the SAFE Act of 2008.
