Familiarity with data abstraction from paper and electronic medical records is necessary for this position, as is the understanding of how interventions can impact the quality of care. The successful candidate will collaborate with a national panel of experts and other healthcare professionals on the project team. Education A bachelor?s degree in nursing, pharmacy, or other health-related field and at least five years of experience in working with hospitals is required; candidates with a master or doctoral degree will receive primary consideration. Project management skills and experience with quality reporting programs is helpful. Professionals maintaining a current license in nursing or pharmacy are preferred.
