Job Purpose The Set Merchandiser works in new Home Depot stores before the grand opening. This position requires the use of basic hand tools. You will assemble steel shelving, create displays, and merchandise products according to Plan-o-gram. In addition, you will place price signs and POP (Point of Purchase) materials. Job Requirements/Experience Must be mechanically inclined and adept with basic hand tools Must have reliable transportation Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and climb a safety ladder Must be able to travel for extended periods of time (up to 40 weeks per year) Internet access readily available Important Note: We require a successful completion of drug screening and a background check as part of the hiring process. Other Requirements Must perform the job safely and utilize proper safety techniques and use of equipment when appropriate.
