Home Preservation Spec 1
Position hours: M-F, 9-6pm The primary goal of the Home Preservation Department is to mitigate loss for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage while allowing the mortgagor's to retain their home. Serves as the single point of contact to borrowers and/or agencies whose loans are delinquent or at high risk for delinquency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Recommend solutions to maintain home ownership, including HAMP, proprietary modifications, repayment plans - Discuss liquidation options including short sales, and deed in lieu when modification options are not possible - Analyzing the borrowers financial situation and making recommendations on loan modifications/workout options to resolve delinquency - Identify, maintain, track and log requested documentation for loan modification review - Communicate with borrowers and/or agencies of loan modification decision, current status, options, timelines, coordination touch points, and borrower obligations through the process. Basic Qualifications: 2+ years experience in mortgage loan origination, telesales, collections, default, customer service or loss mitigation. Minimum Qualifications: - 1+ years mortgage servicing experience - Strong Customer Service Skills - Ability to analyze documents and solve problems - Ability to prioritize and maintain a large volume of work - Ability to be flexible and adapt to a fast paced and changing business environment - Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task - Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong Microsoft Office skills including: Outlook, Word and Excel - Must be available to work weekends, as needed Preferred Skills: - 2+ years mortgage experience - Previous experience reviewing and/or analyzing credit reports, paystubs, W2's, and calculating income - Experience managing a pipeline of loans - Bachelor's Degree Wells Fargo is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V. �© 2012 Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.
