HOMEWORKS ADMINISTRATOR (SKIPTON)
JOB PURPOSE
To provide administrative support for the in-house day-to-day repairs teams and team leaders. The role will also include admin support for team leaders which may include checking material spend, inputting information for operative performance and liaising with customers / operatives.
To undertake the administration and processing of the repairs service appointments and other admin / telephone duties associated with the works of the Homework's teams.
Experience
·General admin experience
·Experience of working in service sector, in regular contact with the public
·General knowledge of repairs / building techniques
·Ordering goods and/or services
·Processing of orders and invoices
·Record keeping and monitoring
·Experience of working with external contractors with detailed record keeping of their activity
Special Knowledge
·Skilled in the use of a range of computer and IT applications such as Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
·Empathy for technical issues
Practical and Intellectual Skills
·Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, especially with customers and contractors
·Organisational skills and able to establish and meet deadlines and pro-active in avoiding missed deadlines for the team members
·Thorough and accurate
·Literate and numerate
