Hong Kong – Transaction Advisory Services – Transaction Support – Financial Services – Senior Manager recruitment
Our TAS FSO practice is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Manager, Manager and Senior to join the TAS FSO in Transaction Support based in Hong Kong. Transaction Support ("TS") is the financial due diligence component of our TAS FSO team. Commensurate with the creation of our FSO sub area on July 1 we have created within our FSO sub-area the TAS FSO practice.
TAS FSO is committed to advising our clients on both buy-side and sell-side merger and acquisition transactions for banking and capital markets, asset management and insurance. In addition to TS services: the TAS FSO team provides advisory services on transactions in connection with Transaction Tax ("TT"), Valuations, Restructuring , Operational Transaction Services ("OTS"), and Lead Advisory.
The roles will work closely with Dennis Leung our Greater China TAS FSO Leader, report to TAS Partners of our Greater China team and to Marc Symons our Asia-Pacific TAS FSO Leader.
TAS FSO's clients include our largest global and regional Corporate and Private Equity priority accounts as well as Mid-market Corporates and Private Equity.
The Asia-Pacific TAS FSO practice completes our firm's global TAS FSO coverage by teaming with our TAS FSO practices in North America and EMEIA.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team to perform detailed analysis on financial and operational information to identify possible deal breakers and potential opportunities.
- Seek new opportunity and proactively involve in marketing and business development related events for potential leads.
- Work closely with the overall TAS team and other Services Lines for cross selling opportunities. Prepare proposals and present financial due diligence reports to clients.
- Work closely with clients, targets and other professionals in the legal, tax, management consulting and valuation fields.
- Help develop project leads, and hire and train junior staff.
Requirements:
- University graduates with a minimum of 8 years’ professional audit experience in financial service sector and Big4, preferably with previous due diligence and transaction advisory exposure.
- CPA qualified.
- Familiar with international generally accepted accounting practice.
- Strong analytical, presentation and report writing skills.
- Frequent travel is required.
- Ability to assist with proposals and other business development efforts.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
