Macquarie Securities Group (MSG) is a global institutional securities house covering sales, research, ECM, execution and derivatives and delta one activities. MSG uses its research and risk management skills to develop equity-based solutions and services for clients internationally.
We are currently seeking an Associate Director to join our International Sales team in Hong Kong. He or she will be responsible for building and maintaining good relationships with clients, identifying and developing new business opportunities and be able to understand the company's short and long term business strategy in relation to institutional sales.
Job responsibilities:
- Be part of a dynamic team to distribute and communicate our research to buy side institutions, such as mutual funds and insurance companies in Asia.
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors in Asia.
- Plan and implement road shows, conferences and client visits with analysts, companies and investment professionals.
- Provide market feedback regarding perception about the firm and our research team.
- Identify and cultivate prospects and/or clients, initiating and following-up on new business opportunities.
Job requirements:
- At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience working with institutional clients, primarily Sovereign Wealth Funds, Family Offices, Private Banks and Hedge Funds based in Asia.
- Sound knowledge of Equity markets in Europe and the US.
- MBA/CFA /graduate degrees preferred.
- Strong marketing skills, result-oriented.
- Excellent understanding of the capital markets in Asia.
- Diligent, able to work under pressure, team-oriented.
- Proven consultative sales and customer relationship skills.
