Talented Software Developers contribute enormously to the success of our business. Working directly with traders quantitative strategists this opportunity will be key to developing maintaining core components of our high performance trading system along with the direct implementation and design of our quantitative trading strategies.
Key skills required:
- Strong OO programming skills - preferably C# or Java.
- Strong mathematical background.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Interest in financial markets - experience not necessary.
- Willingness to support systems once in production.
- Experience with dealing with large data sets or multi-threaded parallel systems.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work on a complete project lifecycle; requirement capturing, design, development and final deployment to production.
- Ability to work with team members, yet be motivated and self-directed.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and provide proper project estimates.
- Would ideally prefer candidates with experience or exposure to trading systems; C# specific experience; Masters degree from a top-tier university in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field.
