Horizon Developer
Role Overview:
This role will be focused on the development, integration, testing and deployment of the global Horizon application. Horizon is the market making and execution platform used by the Flow Equity Derivatives and Delta1 trading desks and is currently used in London, Paris, Hong Kong, New York. The Horizon platform is a critical application for the business and this is a key role for the team.
The Developer will work with users and IT staff across all regions to gather business requirements and then deliver them in a robust and responsive way.
Business description:
- Knowledge of Equity Derivatives products, pricing and trading
- Knowledge of Delta1 products, pricing and trading
- Strong record of building and managing vendor relationships
- Proven experience of delivering projects with global reach
Skill Set:
- Working with Horizon in a major investment bank.
- Experience in integrating Horizon with static data, exchange connectivity, direct market data, pricing libraries and downstream feeds.
Technical:
- Experience of working with Horizon software
- Experience of Java development
- knowledge of FIX and Reuters RMDS
