The Hospice aide serveson theinterdisciplinary team, provides personal care and designated health-related services to patients enrolled in hospice. Services must be provided in compliance with Agency policies and procedures, applicable health care standards, and governmental laws and regulations. Successful completion of Home Health Aide Training and/or Competency Evaluation which meets the requirements of 42CFR 484.36andapplicable state requirements, or a current professional license to practice in MA required. Must have the ability to read, write, understand and carry out directions and keep simple records.Requirements includereliable transportation, the ability towork with minimal supervision in a multicultural, multi-ethnic environment and demonstrated sensitivity to the unique needs of patients and families experiencing a terminal illness.
