Position Description:
We're looking for a motivated State Tested Nurse Assistant to join our Cincinnati, OH team. As the Hospice STNA, you would provide care to hospice patients in their homes or other care facilities. Primary Responsibilities:
- Visiting patients in their homes, hospitals or other facilities
- Assisting patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), exercise, eating and other personal tasks
- Taking vital signs
- Performing light housekeeping and preparing meals
- Changing bed linens
- Reporting changes in patient's condition by contacting the RN
- Submitting visit notes
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- STNA license/ certification in the state of Ohio is required
- 1+ year experience working as a CNA is required
- Valid Driver's License/ reliable transportation and insurance are required
- 1+ year of professional PC experience preferred
- Work independently and ability to give compassionate care to patients and family members
- Must be a self starter, excellent verbal communications skills
