A privately owned leading Independent hotel based in Edgbaston, Birmingham is looking to recruit a Full Time Receptionist.

This unique modern hotel situated just 2 miles from Birmingham city centre offers everything for the business or pleasure traveller. The hotel as all modern facilities and is renown locally for its ambience and good food.

Working with the owners this is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals driven by customer satisfaction.

The Ideal Receptionist will:

- Preferred minimum 3 years experience of hotel reception work
- Be adept in handling telephone and email enquiries
- Have knowledge of dealing face to face with customers
- Have Computer literacy
- Minimum A-C grade O level/ GCSE in English and Maths and/or relevant industry specific qualifications
- Be articulate and eloquent in the English language
- Have outstanding written and oral communication skills
- exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to create a good rapport with people
- Excellent organisations skills
- A team player who can also show initiative and be self motivated
- A keen sense of customer service
- A smart and well presented individual

The successful applicant would be enthusiastic, approachable, accommodating, calm and amiable.

This role is a full time position with two shift patterns which are 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm. Shifts will be Monday to Sunday as needed to meet the needs of the business.
