HR Assistant
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible variety of duties in the Human Resources Department of a fast paced company in areas of personnel records, personnel file management, new hire, on-boarding, internal customer service sand benefits administration and special projects. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources. In addition to these duties, this person will perform the following responsibilities:
· Provide exceptional customer service to employees including answering questions both verbally and in e-mail.
· Provide general administrative support to HR team.
· Process all new hire paperwork for all Staff and other areas as assigned.
· On-boarding administration of all new hires for company which includes evaluating and reporting on hiring processes; screenings, utilizes Lexis Nexis based products for processing and status reporting.
· Organizes all HR department records and employment files; filing and recording of information where needed.
· Completes individual special projects assigned by Director, Human Resources
· Maintains all documentation required for projects and documents processes/procedures
Required Knowledge/Skills/Experience
· General knowledge of HR procedures and practices.
· 2-3 years experience in HR Administrative Role
· Ability to maintain confidential information and materials
· Excellent attention to detail
· Demonstrated knowledge of business application software including spreadsheets, databases and word processing.
· Proficient with Excel including experience using pivot tables and formulas.
· Excellent oral and written communications skills required.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Experience
· Previous experience working with ADP HR Products
· Previous experience in HR Department in Staffing a plusRate: Estimated Rate $14/hr
