HR Administrator Job in New York 10038, New York US

The Legal Aid Society has an opening for an HR Administrator in our Manhattan office that will report directly to the Assistant Director of Human Resources.  In this role you will provide administrative support to the Department on HR related matters, including but not limited to: handling the main HR telephone line; administering COBRA notification, monthly premium notification and payment reconciliation; responding to employment verifications; coordinating the Society’s TransitChek program; coordination Company flu shots and TB testing; processing monthly insurance bills; processing intern and volunteer MIS forms; handling ADP data entry; issuing building ID badges and Company proximity cards; processing department mail and other office work as requested.

 

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2-3 years previous HR Assistant experience, proficient MS Office skills, prior experience with ADP/Enterprise v2 or v4 preferred, excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
