JOB DESCRIPTION:

Support the HR Function to help in ensuring the flawless delivery and implementation of HR strategy, policies and processes business wide in order to achieve the best contribution from our people and make a value added difference to the business.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         must be flexible in approach to travel and working away from home across numerous site locations

·         Advise and guide employees, line mangers and senior management on individual/ collective cases relating to disciplinary, grievance, sickness, underperformance, occupational health and dismissal to meet business needs and help to raise standards of performance and reduce risk to the business.

·         Plan and support the implementation of restructure and demobilisation by advising on the application of policy and procedure so that the business adjusts its workforce according to changing needs.

·         Assist in policy development through research, data collection, report writing and consultation to help ensure continuous improvement.

·         Coach managers to build establish and maintain a positive and engaged work place in which people exercise discretion and effort to improve performance.

·         Define local resourcing and training needs and strategies so that managers have access to the right workforce capabilities.

·         Lead the implementation, maintenance and execution of performance management processes so that individuals and teams continuously improve.

·         Provide managers with guidance and support on recognition policies and processes so that managers are able to recognize effort and reward desired results.

·         Identify and deliver process and system improvements in relation to HR administration so that the function can provide and deliver a high standard of customer service.

·         Work with managers to ensure a safe and healthy work place so that the environment in which employees work is productive and limits risk.

·         Ensure that best fit advice is provided so that managers reduce the risk of employee relations issues.

·         Project manage HR related projects in line with HR and business related objectives and key performance indicators Represent the HR function of business wide and global initiatives and projects as required

 

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:

Relevant HR Qualification – preferably CIPD qualified
