HR Analyst Job in City Of London, London UK

Working within the Global Compensation and Benefits team, this role reports into the HR Analysis Manager. The role is focussed on working within the UK HR team and also liaising internationally with local HR teams and business teams in the US, Hong Kong, and continental Europe to ensure data compliance and accurate reporting.

The role has an HRIS bias and involves the data input into and reporting out of the global HR system, PeopleSoft. This role will be responsible for ensuring agreed data standards are followed and that system dependent HR processes are adhered to and improved. It is the responsibility of this position to ensure that data within the HR system is validated and correct, supporting provision of critical information to the wider business.

This role is ideally suited to an HR Professional with a desire to specialise in a data and systems centric role. The ideal candidate should have had experience of working in an HR department with HR data in a junior HRIS or Administration role with the desire to develop their career in this HRIS discipline. You will be required to become a prime super user of the PeopleSoft system and as such have responsibility for helping to ensure data integrity.

The main focus of the role will be the administration of data within the PeopleSoft system ensuring that data is input in a timely manner, adhering to data standards

Provision of adhoc and recurring standard reports from PeopleSoft, with associated data manipulation and formatting as required

Ensuring that system dependent HR processes (joiners, leavers, transfers etc) are managed in an consistent manner so as to support the timely provision of data to stakeholders within the business

Participation in agreed projects for which the maintenance of data in the HRIS system is key such as development and implementation of new data standards for key HR data

Develop training and documentation of system use for HR users

Administration of the Payroll interface and problem solving of any resulting issue

Production of functional specifications for new developments in the HR system and for reports as required.

Experience in maintaining the PeopleSoft HRIS system is an advantage, knowledge of position management, PeopleSoft query and security administration is a particular advantage.

Knowledge of HR processes and terminology

Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, graphical capability, formula)
