Job Responsibilities:
Ensures assigned client group is in compliance with HR policies, procedures, and reporting. Has accountability for planning and organizing all HR support activity for and in partnership with assigned client group. Participates in the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems that maximize service and utility to assigned client group and other functions across the business. Collaborates with HR counterparts to integrate and upgrade programs; shares best practices so that HR can run more efficiently and effectively. Stays on top of client and corporate strategy; recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of HR department and services it performs. Manages, termination, promotion, performance management process, compensation planning, training, organizational design and employee relations activity for assigned client group. Acts in partnership with HR leadership and corporate ER to troubleshoot and investigate employee relations concerns; advises client leadership on appropriate course of action to satisfactorily resolve each situation and avoid repeat issues. Participates in regularly scheduled meetings with human resources staff to provide business updates, share best practices, and provide ongoing support. Proactively develops programs to positively affect morale and retention. Ability to pull reports, analyze and summarize data and display data in a number of formats such as excel, PowerPoint, etc. is critical.
Required Skills Experience:
- Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resource Management, or equivalent combination of training and experience. (First consideration will be given to those candidates that hold a college degree)
- Min of 2+ yrs of HR business partner/generalist experience
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Must be able to work with and maintain confidential information. Possess excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Knowledge of current federal, state and local regulations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of various factors.
- Ability to exercise judgment within a broadly defined practice and policies
- Ability to coordinate with people and groups around the globe.
- Strong planning and project management skills.
- Knowledge of change management practices and implementation processes.
- Proven success in working independently and working with diverse employee groups.
