This financial institution is part of the largest banking groups in the world today. The bank provides corporate and project finance, and treasury services and products to top tier corporate clients. The Bank is embarking on an exiting period of consolidation and expansion in the Oceania region and as part of enhancing its support infrastructure, a new role of Human Resources Business Partner has been created.

Based in Sydney and reporting to the Head of Human Resources you will use your outstanding relationship skills and HR experience to partner with a key front office business group. You will take ownership of all HR matters and provide the full range of HR services, management advice, and support to line managers and their teams. In addition you will assist in the development of the Oceania Human Resources strategic plan with particular focus on business drivers for the front office business.

To be successful in this role you must possess; five years + experience as a HR Manager or Business Partner with demonstrated competencies across the full HR generalist spectrum. Previous experience partnering with institutional banking divisions with a particular focus on corporate and project finance. Experience executing on regional HR strategies at a local level and a strong focus on operational outcomes. Outstanding communications skills with highly developed written and verbal abilities. Extraordinary attention to detail, and a strong focus on maintenance and compliance of established policies and procedures.

Candidates who are able to demonstrate a background in small scale mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate finance/ front office experience will be very highly regarded.
