Purpose
As a managerial and key function, the Human Resources Business Partner is the fundamental relation for the Management of a dedicated business line.
The HR BP acts as a real consultant for the line management, he/she participates in the application of the HR policy of each business line: compensation, career path, mobility, retention plan and all other HR matters. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Business Partner is an expert, participating in the development of new processes in order to align his/her partnership to business needs. The BP is also a Talent Manager
Primary Responsabilities
The HR BP is an ambassador
- Communicate with assigned business lines about any HR relevant updates that may facilitate the activity of the business from a HR perspective
- Share best practices cross-company by organising information sessions at people management level
- Ensure People Manager properly relay the information and adopt best practices
- Act as an escalation point for HR related activities
- Be the Agent of communication to implement HR global initiatives at local level
- Ensure the image of the HR department is well perceived because our action concretely produce value for the business
- Be responsible of client satisfaction (employee surveys) as far as the HR action may positively interfere on the overall perception
- Be problem solving when an employee faces issues and be empowered as far as the proposal is made
- Represent the HR Department on the Luxembourg market (events, conferences,...etc)
The HR BP is talent driven
- Work closely with the business to support the profitable growth of the business and support the implementation of the business strategies
- Provide advice and counsel to business lines as it relates to organizational design and structure, talent requirements, assessment and mitigation of HR risks
- Optimize talent management capabilities within the business through regular review of organization’s workforce composition (demographics, competencies, roles, performance, talent profiles),
- Perform HR operational role, supporting local Business Leaders as a business partner in conjunction with Global HR agenda
- Manage employee relations issues, engaging with management promptly to address issues in a timely manner
- Facilitate the salary and bonus review and supporting business executives in relation to their recommendations

Job Specifications (Position Requirements Experience)Required:
- University degree or post-graduate degree with a minimum 5 years experience in HR
- Proven blended HR experience

- Track record in senior HR positions (relevant experience)
- Ability to build strong relationships and credibility at all levels
- Influencing skills with the proven ability to orientate managers in people related matters
- Demonstrable experience of working on the full range of HR issues (strategic and operational), including employee relations, with particular focus on development planning and performance management
- Can-do attitude, experience of working on own initiative within an changing and high pressured environment
- Commitment to high standards of excellence, demonstrates drive to succeed in a changing environment
- Results oriented; excellent follow-through skills
- Ability to multitasks and make quick adequate decisions
- Fluent in French and English, other language as an asset
