GENERAL DUTIES
Provides information and services to the College community to support the Human Resources function.
- Prepares and executes various personnel transactions involving employee recordkeeping, processing of new hires, pay administration, and recruiting
- Maintains an understanding of policies, procedures, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements relevant to human resources
- Organizes and processes employee information; develops and maintains reports and queries; assures data accuracy and completeness
- Responds to requests for information; troubleshoots issues, follows up and responds to employee inquiries
- Assists HR managers with employee communications of all kinds; may prepare materials, conduct orientation sessions, or update web pages
- Performs related duties as assigned.

CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION
-Initiating transactions pertaining to Position Management component of CUNYFirst;
-Overseeing timely data entry into CUNYFirst in order to meet Chancellor's Report deadlines;
-Troubleshooting issues on CUNYFirst and filing related tickets to report problem cases on the CRM System; responding to requests for reports to be obtained from CUNYFirst system;
-Researching and responding to ongoing requests from University to work on correcting data clean-up and data inconsistency reports in an effort to maintain data integrity;
-Ongoing CUNYFirst related training such as Employee Self Service or Manager Self Service and responding to CUNYFirst related questions from College community.
-Maintain departmental budget including purchasing, advertising, and modifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to work on multiple projects at the same time. Must be deadline, detail and budget oriented, highly motivated, and demonstrate initiative. A strong knowledge of PeopleSoft/CUNYFirst preferred.

COMPENSATION
$35,576 - $40,129, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
