HR eMarketing Strategist

Job Description:
Role:
The HR eMarketing Strategist works in Global eMarketing, reporting to the Director, eMarketing Programs.The eMarketing Strategist serves as an expert eMarketing resource for BSC’s HR organization.

You conceive, develop, and oversee the implementation of high-impact Global integrated eMarketing programs and capabilities that, at a minimum, help drive highly effective recruiting programs and that drive BSC employee self-service utilization of HR resources and benefits.

You are the eMarketing evangelist for HR. You achieve success by formulating and executing eMarketing plans and capabilities that help drive key HR priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
Above all, partner with HR stakeholders to identify key HR priorities and develop eMarketing strategies and plans to – where appropriate – help drive HR priorities, with particular emphasis on Talent Acquisition and Employee Self-Service.

Talent Acquisition
·Lead the development – in partnership with Talent Acquisition team and with eMarketing Customer Experience/Web Presence team – of Global Careers online recruiting strategy and web presence, Accountable for designing, developing and maintaining high-impact, cost-effective Global Careers web presence that integrates with Applicant Tracking System and helps Company brand itself as an employer of choice, effectively market Global career opportunities and acquire top talent.
·Recommend and foster high impact recruiting promotional program that maximizes potential of search engine marketing, search engine optimization, social media and mobile marketing to reach and attract top talent and drive them to consider BSC career opportunities.
·Serve as content liaison/manager for Careers website. Accountable for maintenance of content across BSC’s global careers web properties: Recommend user-friendly ways to develop, organize and deliver content and complete all content updates required.
·Regularly assess and report on the contribution of Careers online recruiting programs – partnering with Measurement and Analysis team, identify key performance metrics and develop regular, meaningful reporting that HR stakeholders can use to continually optimize online recruiting strategies and programs.

Employee/Manager Self-Service
·Lead the evaluation of existing BSC platform used to drive employee self-service of HR programs, benefits and resources, and recommend fiscally responsible and technically feasible strategy and plan for improving technology platform to maximize self-service utilization of HR services by BSC employees.
·As needs arise to identify and implement technology platform solutions/enhancements in support of employee self-service, formulate Requests for Proposal (RFPs) as appropriate, and lead cross-company teams in the evaluation and selection of vendors.
·Lead implementation of enhancement and upgrade projects using generally-accepted principles of project management to deliver within committed budgets and schedules.
·Regularly assess and report on the contribution of BSC’s self-service platforms. Partner with HR Shared Services team to identify key performance metrics for employee and manager self-service, recommend tools and processes for implementing and reporting on KPIs, and develop regular, meaningful reporting that HR Shared Services team members can use to prioritize and implement digital, technology based capabilities and programs to further drive employee self-service, in the process, reducing HR time spent supporting employee transactional activities.
·Serve as content liaison/manager for BSC’s employee/manager self-service platform. Accountable for maintenance of content on BSC’s internal employee/manager self-service platform: Recommend user-friendly ways to develop, organize and deliver content and complete all content updates required.

Employee Engagement
· As key digital communications priorities arise for HR, lead project teams in developing and implementing appropriate digital initiatives (e.g., employee communications via Intranet sites, etc.).

Job Experience:
· MBA and 3-5 years of related experience; Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of related experience; or equivalent
· Track record of managing the development and launch of market-facing applications on time and within budget, ideally within an eBusiness environment
· Solid understanding of user needs and how to deliver high-quality online user experiences
· Thorough, practical understanding of and experience working in adherence to project management best practices
· Proven experience delivering business results with eMarketing programs, including websites, search engine marketing, and ideally social and mobile marketing.
· Basic knowledge of HTML, Website building and structure, and Internet technologies.
· Hands-on experience with employee self-service platforms based on Peoplesoft/Peoplesoft Enterprise Portal and with Sharepoint a plus
· Familiarity with reporting and data analysis tools such as Access, Excel, Brio, and Cognos
· Exceptional analytical skills
