HR Finance Partner
My client, a major UK Bank are looking for a commercially astute Business manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the learning and development specialist area. This person will take accountability for the Financials and headcount planning, structuring and communication and on-going budget management for a specialist team.
You will support the head of department to run the overall operational running of the function. You will own and deliver accurate and timely budget and headcount information and support the development of MI to enable effective planning and decision making across the department. Prior experience in HR roles within a large organisation is desired but not essential. The bulk of your role will be budgeting, headcount management and reporting and the rest capacity and resource planning.
Successful candidates will have strong MI reporting, headcount planning and have experience in budget planning and management. You will demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills and have a highly analytical mind set. This person really needs to have the ability to work autonomously under little supervision. Your communication skills must be confident, clear and concise and able to present analysis to senior management.
We will also look at and consider those in a cost environment for an infrastructure function such as Marketing/Purchasing/IT if they have considerable cost experience and are competent and comfortable facing off to the wider business.
