 Human Resources Generalist

Reporting to the HR Manager, the incumbent will assist the Human Resource department in the day to day tactical operations. The successful candidate will be highly organized, has attention to fine detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. We are seeking a candidate that has significant experience in full cycle Corporate Recruitment as well as a strong Benefits Specialist background.  Only candidates with both mix of experiences in their background will be considered.

 

This position is open to U.S. citizens by birth or naturalization and U.S. nationals

The normal business hours for this full time exempt role are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
We are not able to offer part time hours.

The work site will be in our corporate headquarters in Newburyport. We are not able to offer remote work options or relocation.

Recruitment

•Sourcing candidates

•Manual logging/tracking of job requisitions, resumes and candidate progress

•Resume screening for applicability for open position

•Posting and updating current requisitions on the job boards/company website

•In depth phone screening

•Coordination of interview schedules

•Candidate testing and background check processing

•Maintaining applicant flow logs for EEO/AA

•Drafting job descriptions, including FLSA evaluation

•Negotiating offers and preparation of offer letter

Required Education:

•Bachelor Degree required; PHR certification a plus

Required Experience:

•Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Generalist background with specific skills and experience in both full cycle recruitment as well as a benefits function. Very strong preference for experience in a manufacturing environment, or technical industry

•Current knowledge of Human Resources areas required (including: Federal and State employment laws, FLSA, ADA, EEO, compensation, etc.)
