HR Generalist

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Under minimal supervision, acts as a strategic business partner and change agent to management in the development, implementation and coordination of policies and programs covering several or all of the following: recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, employee and labor relations, and personnel research, etc.
- Participates in policy development and participates in cross-functional and area teams.
- Communicates HR related programs to managers and employees.
- May provide training to other HR Generalists.
- Handles special projects, as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Broad knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and able to deal with ambiguity and change.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time.
- Must be a team player.
- Experience with SAP is preferred
Education/Experience/Training:
- Bachelor's Degree. Master's Degree a plus.
- HR certification a plus.
- 5+ years HR experience.
