HR IT Integration Solution Specialist Job in Plano, Texas US
Liaison with HR/Payroll business owners, PepsiCo BIS Services providers and Third Party providers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of HR/Payroll services and projects. This includes providing IT leadership for Change Requests, driving issue resolution for escalations, managing ongoing Business as Usual processes such as release and change management for assigned application areas (HRMS and Kronos- US and Canada).
Manage risks of HR applications in Production environment and plan for sustainability or replacement.
Ensure appropriate controls and compliance
- Achieve application support obligations via SLA/KPI metrics, aged ticket oversight and through direct influence and detailed involvement in projects (Change Requests (CR)).
- Accountable for requirements review and implementation approvals of assigned Change Requests.
- Accountable for ensuring new solutions (CR's) meet IT Sox and PepsiCo Security compliance Ensure operational readiness of assigned projects (CR's).
- Build and maintain a thorough understanding of the HR applications, technology and integration components. This includes key integrations with PepsiCo downstream applications (e.g. IDM, SAP, Hewitt CDS).
- Maintain accurate application portfolio information
- Demonstrate collaboration and with technology teams, IDM, helpdesks, change management teams etc.
- Responsible for oversight of Kronos disaster recovery tests.
- Provide right level of status reporting to insure full transparency into project risks and issues..
- Work with business to build sustainable and scalable solutions.
- Ensure alignment with PepsiCo Technical standards and guidelines
- Understand root causes of issues ensuring that the proper solution is applied thus eliminating future issues. Organize and facilitate cross team meetings (HR, BIS,Hewitt, vendors) as needed to manage issues to resolution.
- Collaborate with Transformation team as needed to ensure proper Baseline transition and retirement activities are completed
- Ensure applications are recoverable, have contingency planning and risk mitigation plans.
- Provide input to strategic and operating plans.
Qualifications:
- Must demonstrate a high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and creativity and can act with minimal day to day supervision
- Extensive experience in application support and systems operations management (8 yrs+).
- Multi-country project experience required.
- 3+ years experience in managing complex, integrated solutions having both an application and Technology background
- Experience and Knowledge of HR/Payroll applications required - SAP HCM and Kronos v 6.x
- Ability to lead small- med scale multi-functional global projects (created from Change requests) with a horizontal and vertical lens from conception to implementation and support.
- Ability to partner and work in a matrixed organization, across multiple levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to understand team diversities, manage conflicting priorities and navigate the complexities of producing sustainable solutions in a fast paced dynamic global team environment.
- Budget development, project planning and estimating experience.
- Solid understanding of Project Life Cycle deliverables.
- Change leader - proven ability to define and implement new processes, ability to influence.
- Proven vendor management and customer relationship experience. Prior experience in an outsource environment preferred.
- Experience with creating SOW's, contract terms
- Strong interpersonal skills - willingness to partner, collaborate but also challenge and drive continuous improvement.
- Solid problem solving skills with a quality focus and attention to detail/ follow through.
- Must have solid communication and organizational skills with a drive for results as most work will be done in virtual teams.
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time.
