HR Learning and Development Administrator (Internship up to 12 months) recruitment

We have an exciting Full Time internship opportunity within our Learning and Development team for a period of up to 12 months.
The Learning Development (LD) function exists to provide a development service which supports professional skills development, ensures the availability of regulatory training, encourages a culture of self-development and boosts employee engagement. The LD administrator intern will be responsible for providing administrative support to the LD function across the UK.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Act as a focal point for managing day-to-day LD queries
- Monitor the LD team inbox and deal with all queries promptly, either responding directly or delegating to a colleague in the LD team for action
- Monitor the LD team calendar and ensure it accurately reflects team activities and all planned in-house development, whether delivered by LD, other internal facilitators or external suppliers
- Monitor employee movements and liaise with HR Admin to ensure that LD receive accurate and timely information about joiners, leavers, transfers and promotions and take necessary steps to ensure that changes are made to LMS details, including performance review and TC profiles.
- Manage the administration of the LMS including management of modules, programmes and events. Follow documented procedure for co-ordinating events and development programmes, and actively seek to develop further checklists and suggest improvements.
- Monitor event bookings on the LMS and flag cases where line managers are slow to approve bookings. Work with LD Specialists to ensure that in-house events are booked as close to capacity as possible.
- Collate evaluation of training events and prepare reports for the LD Specialist.
- Develop and manage a standardised MI reporting pack and manage all reporting requirements for the central LD teams in Paris.
- Co-ordinate all in-house events, including room bookings, catering, and managing LD resources (training rooms, AV equipment etc). Use agreed event process to increase event quality. Responsible for post-event administration, including updating attendance on LMS and following up to ensure evaluations are completed
- Book external courses for individuals either via training broker or direct with supplier, following agreed procedure and completing tracker.
- Co-ordinate monthly induction in all locations.
- Manage the preparation of training events including printing materials, room set up and attendance lists.
Applications are welcomed from candidates with a relevant qualification in Learning and Development or HR. You will have strong communication skills combined with a willingness to help and support the HR team and wider business areas. You must be able to demonstrate analytical skills, the ability to work accurately and efficiently on your own initiative within a deadline driven environment. A strong knowledge of Microsoft packages would be beneficial.
