HR Manager
HR Manager, Business Transformation - £50,000 - £60,000 - Central London
Our client, a leading housing association is seeking an experienced HR Manager to take the next step in their career. As part of the business transformation team you will work to focus on implementing and embedding culture change, change management and organisational design. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will advise each work stream leader on any HR issues related to the outcomes of their work and take a lead in the implementation of any changes.
Key responsibilities:
- To provide a professional HR service to the organisation and support the Business Transformation team in the delivery of work stream outcomes.
- To provide professional advice, guidance, coaching and support to line managers on employee relations issues.
- To assist in planning and implementing large scale change programmes.
- Responsible for the HR element of Business Transformation implementation, managing HR Objectives and Strategy consistently in line with the Life Chances Plan.
- Assist with the delivery of change initiatives to meet business budget objectives.
- Play a key role in the creation and implementation of change management plans to maximise employee engagement.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation, influencing senior management in best practice HR to deliver business transformation objectives.
- Support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.
- Managing support to employees and managers in all matters relating to policy and procedures and championing best practise approaches to people within the organisation.
- Case management responsibility for complex ER cases.
- Advise on restructuring, TUPE transfers and organisational development in line with Business Transformation.
- Support to the delivery of the HR strategy and People Plan.
- Influencing senior and middle management in change and HR capability.
- Advice on organisational structures and design.
- Support the Recruitment Team with on going assessments and recruitment campaigns for key Business Transformation roles.
Professional Knowledge and Experience
- Significant experience and evidence of the success in:
- Generalist HR, providing the functions outlined in the job description
- Managing, implementing and embedding change
- Large scale organisation design
- Employment law, employee relations and it's practical application
- Experience of organisational restructuring including TUPE
- Experience of providing HR services with medium size multi-site organisations
- Strong relationship management and influencing skills
- IT skills (Word, Excel, personnel database, PowerPoint)
- Experience of providing a service to a staff group with a variety of terms and conditions of employment - desirable
- Graduate CIPD - desirable
