Assystem are currently recruiting a HR Manager to work for our client, a leading supplier to the automotive industry, at their site in Rubery, Birmingham.
You will be:
As a generalist of modern HR-Management you will support innovative development departments as well as departments closely linked to production. Your assignments range from personnel planning, recruiting and support to operative personnel development at our plant.
You will provide front line advisory service to staff and managers with all issues regarding Human Resources and employment legislation and you report directly to plant management in Birmingham.
Ensure regular communication with relevant external Human Resource contacts and to build a stable relationship to them.
Ensure regular editing and set up of reports about personnel key data.
Involvement in various projects complete the wide variety of your activities.
You must be CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) qualified
You must have HR experience in an industrial company, especially in the areas of personnel development and recruiting.
Professional knowledge about UK employment law. As a confident character you are able to communicate with staff of all hierarchy levels in a self-assured and competent way. Support problem solving in a constructive way. High personal initiative, work independently following set targets and have detailed knowledge in SAP/HR and MS Office as well as fluent business English.
