Role
Reporting to the HR Director – APAC (who is based in Sydney), this regional role will support Singapore as well as Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Working as part of a global team, this is a true HR Business Partner role with areas of focus being on employee engagement and welfare, coaching senior managers, counseling employees, team building, performance management, integration and change management.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Develop an annual HR action plan to reflect the needs of the business plan and manage effective implementation
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies and procedures and employment law compliance issues
- Make a significant contribution to the implementation of leading edge HR policies, processes and practices
- Consistently promote and demonstrate the corporate culture and values
- By providing excellence in customer service help raise the status of the HR function to one of greater influence and more strategic involvement
Qualifications, Skills Knowledge
The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified in Business, Management or Human Resources with a minimum of 8 years human resources experience, preferably in a financial or professional services environment, prior experience in a matrix organization would be highly advantageous. As a seasoned HR Business Partner with a proven track record in engaging a leadership team, you will also be an energetic and credible team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
