High tech company in the Schenectady area is seeking a HR Manager / Director. This is a newly created position and reports to the CEO. Responsibilities include: provide leadership and coordination of company HR functions; develops and implements corporate HR strategy and programs; scope of position will include, but is not limited to: recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, employee and labor relations, personnel records, risk management, worker's compensation, employee/organization development, diversity, affirmative action, benefits, and compliance, corporate culture and legal areas; maintains strategic HR partnership with the senior functional leaders and their staff and translates business needs into human resources priorities and ensures alignment; provides leadership in corporate strategic planning. This role will be a key member of leadership and management.
