GENERAL SUMMARY Act as primary strategic HR resource and business partner for assigned function. Will also contribute to the strategic direction and formulation of corporate-wide policies, procedures, systems and initiatives. Maintains current knowledge base of legal and regulatory trends in order to effectively counsel organization leaders and reduce potential business liabilities. Is actively engaged in the functional strategic decisions involving the efficient use of human resources. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Works on unusually complex and sensitive problems and provides solutions that are highly creative. Uses independent judgment to accomplish objectives. Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range targets. Determines and pursues courses of action essential in obtaining desired outcomes. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally result in the failure to reach goals crucial to significant organizational objectives and would profoundly affect the image of the organization. Recognized as an expert in field. Serve as organization spokesperson on specialized projects or programs. Act as prime consultant on large projects that effect the organizations long-term goals and objectives. SKILLS Project management skills. Organizational skills. Communication skills.
