Interim HR Manager - 6 - 9 Months - Chester - circa £35k + Benefits
Our client, a market leader in its field are looking for an experienced HR Manager to cover the existing Managers maternity leave. The successful candidate will be based at the company's headquarters near Chester, and along with a small team of Advisors, provide HR support to its sites based throughout the UK.
This is a varied role within a fast moving industry, and will involve the following duties;
- Providing advice to line managers throughout the business on ER issues and queries
- Oversee all disciplinary and grievance cases, ensuring that the correct processes are adhered to at all times
- Hold regular workshops on handling performance and absence management
- Managing a small team of Advisors
- Generate reports from the in house system, and communicating findings with the HR director and relevant department managers
- Occasional travel to various sites when necessary, resolving complex ER issues and attending meetings.
- Overseeing recruitment throughout the business
The successful candidate will have experience of working in fast paced commercial environment, and have a 'hands on approach' to their work as this role is extremely operational. Ideally we are looking to speak to candidates who are;
- CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
- Can manage their time and workload accordingly
- Have an excellent, up to date knowledge of employment law
- Experience of managing change within a business
- Are familiar with working to an 'open door' policy
- Experienced in managing a small team of advisors
In return, the successful candidate will receive a basic salary circa £35k, dependant on experience and benefit from free car parking and substantial discounts on the company's products.
