HR / Payroll MI Analyst Job in Reigate, Home Counties Uk
This is a largely MI based role within the HR Payroll function of one of the most expansive employers within Financial Services. This is a 12 month contract with possible longer term options due to the rate of growth within the company.
The Company: Our client is a major player within the retirement market, the biggest growth market in financial services and they rank as the UK's top provider in one product line, number two in the other.
The Role: The main purpose of the role will be to support the HR team in providing a high calibre service to the business, focusing on delivery of key objectives. You will provide high quality, timely and accurate MI analysis to enable effective decision making and support to the business. You will also undertake regular essential payroll and HR systems duties.
The role is critical and the individual must ensure the data is accurate, relevant, and depicted in a manner appropriate for the business need within the timeline established.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop all MI systems and processes, managing analysis and presentation of HR MI, responding to ad hoc analysis for senior stakeholders.
• Audit all HR data and provide a list of required changes.
• Develop a process for ensuring all HR data is synchronised between systems.
• Provide robust analysis and interpretation of HR data, highlighting trends, variances and providing business focused reporting commentary to management on subjects such as attrition rates, absence rates, number of disciplinaries/capabilities etc.
• Produce monthly MI for the board and ad hoc reports as required. Act as first point of contact for any ad hoc enquiries on people data and reporting.
• Prepare bonus and pay review data.
• Act as a point of contact for all payroll/employee benefit related queries and deputise in the Payroll Managers absence.
• Ensure consistency and completeness of payroll systems and processes by considering legal requirements, regulations and company policies.
• Co-ordinate and participate in system administration e.g. software maintenance, system/data checks fault-finding and resolution, managing user access and training new line managers on the system.
Experience / Skills Required: The successful candidate will have a background in the provision of MI, ideally in a Human Resources environment. Experience of Payroll systems and legislation is important and ideally you will have experience with HR information systems, preferably Carval.
Additional Information: The salary is £30,000 to £40,000 and bonus would add around 10% to that figure.
