Covance is searching for a HR Senior Partner and primary point-of-contact to the Covance Central Laboratory Services (CCLS) business and senior leadership team.
CCLS has approximately 1700 employees across 4 sites globally: Indianapolis, IN, Geneva Switzerland, Singapore, Singapore, Shanghai, China as well as a partnership in Japan.

  • This role is a member of the Senior Leadership Team for this business unit, and participates on the broader Research Development Lab Group HR Leadership Team
  • Actively involved in developing functional/operational strategy, strategic initiatives, prioritization and business decisions
  • Develops and deploys HR strategies and solutions to support short and long term business goals, including establishing and executing appropriate change and communication plans
  • Effectively navigates the HR organization to ensure quality and timely delivery of all HR services to meet Business needs
  • Internal organizational development consultant and executive coach to Business and HR leaders
  • Input into business development processes (proposals, bid-defense etc.) and acquisitions, divestitures and expansion
  • Will manage a global team of up to 6 HR Partners
  • Travel – 20 to 40%
  • Experience:

  • Must have prior global exposure and experience managing in a virtual and matrix environment
  • Minimum of 10 years (including global)experience
  • Minimum 3 years as a functional head
  • Experience in at least 2 HR disciplines
  • Proven experience managing mid-level leaders employees
  • Education:

  • HR or related degree
  • Masters or MBA is a plus
