HR Technology Business Analyst ~ Key PM Role with Dex One Job in Denver 80031, Colorado US
Business Analysts who understand how HRMS technology works, and how it interfaces and interacts with downstream vendors and systems, can play a key project management role for Dex One as you shape and adapt technology to HR purposes and lead complex projects. You'll add additional breadth and depth to your career skills portfolio in a highly visible role with cross-functional reach. Armed with a solid understanding of HRMS concepts, and, ideally with an understanding of project management methodologies, you'll play a key role across the entire system development life cycle, from requirements gathering to functional launch. Unlike a back office role, you'll see the results of your efforts and be able to gauge their impact within subsets of the HR function as well as across multiple departments within Dex. This is an ideal role for the individual who has gained experience running smaller projects and is ready to step up in class by taking on full end-to-end PM responsibilities. Your first mission will be to identify the most appropriate project planning methodology that we can use moving forward. You'll be tasked with getting your arms around forecasting and planning resources for upcoming projects and determining which tools are best. Prior experience with formal methodologies such as Agile, would be ideal in helping us to make a final determination. Key technologies for Dex include Oracle HRMS and SuccessFactors; however, your success in this role is not tied to a specific vendor product. We're looking for someone who can elicit requirements from colleagues or vendors, compile a highly granular, tightly bound project timeline and then translate that level of detail into a 3-minute elevator pitch sound bite that will resonate effectively with non-technical HR senior management. We'll look to you for strong skills in facilitating meetings with cross functional subject matter experts and, based on your research and fact finding, discover ways technology can enhance a variety of business process workflows to the advantage of both HR and the specific department. From a project standpoint, you're continually weighing the level of effort needed and the specific resources needed to accomplish a task within agreed-upon deadlines.
