For more than 100 years Boar’s Head Brand, premier provider of quality delicatessen products and services, remains committed to its time honored traditional processes through the involvement of their dedicated employees. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Human Resources Trainer.
Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Trainer will be responsible for interacting and building successful relationships with employees and management while influencing proper development. The Human Resources Trainer will evaluate the trainees for effectiveness of training and individual employee growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Consults with management and other organizational members to gain knowledge of developmental needs, make recommendations to address those needs and gains agreement regarding the implementation of the recommendations.
· Assess needs related practices, procedures, and produce training programs to target these needs
· Coordinate OJT training meetings and evaluate applicable outside training resources.
· Continually evaluate procedures to monitor and analyze course effectiveness and update program(s) as needed.
· Direct trainees while in a training class environment
· Evaluate comprehension and application of subject material.
· Observe and participate in the training and development of associates.
· Research and stay concurrent with new developments in training targeted to both new and existing employees.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Five (5) to seven (7) years of Food industry experience required.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Power Point, Word and Excel or similar programs required.
· One (1) to three (3) years Training experience required.
· Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Bi-Lingual (Spanish) a plus
· Society for Human Resource Management certification preferred.
· American Society for Training Development (ASTD) a plus
