It involves the generic HR/recruitment duties – get involved in hiring the right person, make his or her on boarding impactful, set him or her up for benefits and payroll, engage him or her throughout the employment, and even do a little chaos management occasionally. Role overview:
The HR/Recruiting Advisor is responsible for ensuring new employees are on-boarded, set up and supported professionally throughout their career at Sonos, in whatever country in EMEA they are working in. The ideal candidate will have proven success in the areas of benefit management, international payroll preparation, contract management, recruitment administration and sickness management.
Responsibilities include:
HR (approx 70%)
- Contract renewals.
- Organisation of employee on-boarding.
- Payroll preparation 4 countries.
- Benefit administration (all benefits).
- Admin (HRB updates, HR reporting, Employee files, employer declarations, guarantee letters, etc.)
- Absence management.
- People relations (sickness, personal problems, etc.)
Recruitment (approx 30%)
- Planning scheduling of interviews recruitment days.
- Manage our applicant tracking system (posting, CV processing and reporting).
- Support positive candidate experience.
Experience and Skills:
- Bachelors/Masters degree preferred.
- 5+ years of HR experience in international environment, supporting multiple European countries.
- Basic knowledge of European employment law.
- Attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Advanced standard software skills.
- Respected business acumen service orientation.
- Impeccable ethics and integrity.
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritize, working to strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated pro-activeness, maturity, utmost flexibility and sound judgment.
- Fluency in Dutch, English and preferably one other European language.
