HSE Advisor Job in Perth 6000, Western Australia Australia
Our client is a global network of engineers and associated professionals who have recently been awarded a $ 2.3 billion dollar construction package. This forms part of a $43 Billion joint venture off the Northwest Shelf, which will develop and deliver LNG to meet market demand with extensive future expansion plans.
The chosen candidates will form part of a larger advisory team reporting to the Safety Superintendent. The primary focus will be on the implementation of the HSE Procedures in conjunction with compliance with internal policies procedures. Working on a FIFO 26/9 roster you will demonstrate an ability to maintain interface with clients and associated contractors to ensure a positive safety culture is maintained. This permanent position offers a very attractive remuneration package with lucrative site uplifts.
Possessing a genuine passion for safety, you must demonstrate an aptitude for the following;
- Able to liaise with people on all levels
- Implement, Maintain and Develop HSE Management Plans
- Demonstrated ability to maintain effective relationships with clients and their representatives.
- Work in accordance with site safety guidelines and procedures
- Conducting site specific inductions, tool box meetings training
- Conducting site safety audits, field inspections and risk assessments
- Reporting on OHS performance and incidents
- Assisting with incident Investigations/hazard analysis
- Ensuring compliance to Client site HSE procedures and requirements
- Assisting with the overall implementation of HSE systems, strategies and initiatives
- Tap Root Analysis
To be considered for the positions we require:
- Cert IV Occupational Health and Safety
- Certificate IV - Workplace Assessment and Training
- Taproot and/or ICAM Certification
- Audit certification
- 5 years minimum experience as an HSE Advisor in similar role
- Oil Gas Exposure
- First Aid Certificate
- Actively participate in and support Incident and Injury Free culture
