We are seeking an an HSEQ Coordinator to support our safety/quality department in Deer Park, TX.This person will provide technical administrative support in a variety of applications, including:
- Familiar with OSHA regulations, OSHAS- 18001, ISO-14001 and ISO-9001:2008 Quality Management System. Ability to interpret and research regulatory requirements, Report Development, OSHA 300 logs, CAR's, RCA's.
- Maintaining company compliance information in a variety of customer databases
- Respond to customer requests for information prequalification packages and insurance submittals
- Prepare miscellaneous reports for reporting purposes regarding safety incidents, hours worked, KPI's, etc.
- Maintain Non Conformance Reports, Field Problem Reports and Quality Control Manual
- Act as contact person for quality issues with customers.
- Maintain ISO internal audit schedule, distribution of audits, follow up on audit findings.
- Maintain all HSEQ training records.
- Maintain database for calibration for all equipment in shop.
- Document control, review and implement quality procedures.
- Assist safety management in completing incident reports
- Answer employee questions regarding safety procedures
- Maintain site daily accountability boards
- File any needed regulatory data regarding company records
Required Skills
A qualified candidate will possess the following:
- High school diploma; 2 year-degree preferred
- 3-5 years experience working in a petrochemical, oil/gas or related industrial industry
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations
- Ability to interpret and research regulatory requirements
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage changing priorities
- Must be detail oriented
