HTML5 Software Developer
Overview:
Allurent's Product Development team has an immediate opening for a HTML5 Developer. The HTML5 Developer works closely with product development team and designers to develop cutting edge web applications. Work closely with other Allurent programmers to participate in the extension, design of and implementation of our cloud based SAAS offering. We're seeking individuals who are up to the challenge of building these products while focusing on performance optimization (both back- and front-end), re-usability, best practices and good architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take the lead in developing complex XHTML/HTML5/JavaScript websites and applications.
* Work closely with back-end developers to ensure a seamless transition of data.
* Assemble and conceptualize functionality for interactive websites.
* Validate functionality of design concepts.
* Ensure site optimization, unit testing, proper referencing and documentation.
* Work closely with customers, developers, and project managers to ensure on-time delivery.
* Develop and incorporate social networking aspects to websites
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of professional experience with complex XHTML/CSS/JavaScript websites (including dynamic multi-media content, videos, forms, etc.).
* Mastery of CSS and JavaScript including jQuery, Prototype libraries, WebKit.
* Experience developing HTML5 websites.
* Deep understanding of current web application technology and when to apply what.
* Understanding of OOP and examples to prove it.
* Strong attention to detail, excellent organization and communication skills.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects.
* Expertise in building XML/database driven sites and applications.
* Ability to quickly learn, understand technologies applications of varying complexity.
Nice to haves:
* S3 and SimpleDB and other specific AWS experience
