Harrington Starr is working with a leading Financial Connectivity Provider to find a HTML5/JQuery Developer to build a business facing User Interface for a revolutionary FIX Connectivity Hub.
As the HTML5/JQuery Developer (JQuery, AJAX, HTML5, JMX, FIX) you will be working closely with a team of Java Developers who are building a FIX Connectivity Hub. Your role will be to build the User Interface that will allow the rest of the business to access the hub. You will need to work closely with the Developers to hook up the interface to the Connectivity hub and create a seamless transition between the interface and the inner workings of the connectivity hub. You primarily be using HTML5 alongside JQuery although any experience with Java or a willingness to learn Java will be a benefit.
This firm have dramatically increased their market share over the last 12 months and subsequently have grown impressively in that time. This role is a vital strategic role for them going forward and they need someone who is able to build and create a highly impressive UI that will be accessed throughout the business.
The HTML5/JQuery Developer (JQuery, AJAX, HTML5, JMX, FIX) will need:
* Strong experience with HTML5 development - Essential
* Experience with JQuery - Essential
* Experience building User Interfaces within a client facing environment - Highly Beneficial
* Experience with JavaScript and AJAX - Beneficial
* Experience with back end Java Development - Beneficial
* Knowledge of FIX Connectivity - Beneficial
