Experis is looking for experienced HTML/Java Script Developers to join their client's project team in Oak Brook, IL. Developers will be supporting conversions from an LMS being retired to a custom developed LMS.
Description of Job:
You will have the opportunity to be part of a course development team and to use your web development/design skills to build online learning. Your duties will include creating HTML course content pages; producing graphics, animations, and other multimedia elements for online courses; working inside the Course Management System Software; working closely with Instructional Designers to build effective online content; and developing innovative solutions to course production challenges.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 1-3 years of professional experience as a developer of websites, applications, or online courses
- Experience working in a team environment producing online courses or applications
- Knowledge of HTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Flash
- Knowledge of current web technologies
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to excel in fast-paced production environment
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Working knowledge of Course Management Systems, preferable ANGEL
- Proven experience building online courses
- Four year degree in web design/development, computer media development, or graphic design applications
